- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Went into this place for a quiet cup of tea and a hot sandwich. The lady who took our order and brought the tea was charming, but the food was "served" by someone who seemed to be the chef and proprietor, and who ranted and raved at us while our food went cold. My wife was almost reduced to tears and we had to insist that they wrap our food so that we could eat it elsewhere, as it was made clear to us that we were not welcome. Ive never been treated this way as a paying customer in my life before, and I think it is disgraceful. I will be calling in in person next week to insist on a written apology to my wife, who was almost reduced to tears by this thug.By philipkilner, July 05, 2020
